1. Purpose
These terms of use set out how the ExpatTribe mobile app is made available and used. The app is published by NCOO-DEV, S.L. (hereinafter "the Publisher") and connects expat families within the same neighborhood.
2. Access to the service
ExpatTribe is available through the iOS and Android apps. Use requires an account to be created by an adult. Some features are reserved for Premium subscribers.
3. User account
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your profile and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for the activity carried out from your account. An account is created and managed exclusively by an adult, for their family.
4. Rules of conduct
By using ExpatTribe, you agree to behave respectfully and considerately. The following are prohibited in particular:
- any harassing, hateful, discriminatory or threatening remarks or behavior;
- impersonation or the creation of fake profiles;
- unauthorized commercial solicitation;
- any use that undermines the safety of families, in particular children;
- collecting or sharing other users' data without their consent.
Any breach may result in the suspension or deletion of the account.
5. Premium subscriptions
Premium features (direct messaging, "who liked you", Travel Mode, ad-free experience, family bio) are offered through a paid subscription:
- Monthly: €4.99/month.
- Annual: €29.99/year, with a 7-day free trial.
Subscriptions are purchased and billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play, subject to their respective terms. Renewal is automatic unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, from the settings of your Apple or Google account. The Publisher collects no payment data.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its brand, its content and its graphic elements are protected by intellectual property law. You retain ownership of the content you post, but grant the Publisher the license needed to display it within the service.
7. Liability
ExpatTribe is a tool for connecting people. The Publisher cannot be held responsible for the meetups, exchanges or behavior of users among themselves. We encourage you to exercise caution during your first meetups, as with any introduction. The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
8. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Deletion results in the erasure of your data under the conditions set out in our privacy policy.
9. Governing law
These terms of use are governed by Spanish law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
10. Changes
The Publisher may amend these terms of use. Users are informed of any material change. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
