ExpatTribe respects your privacy. This showcase website uses no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party trackers (no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, etc.).

Since these cookies are essential to the site's operation, they do not require prior consent within the meaning of the regulations.
Forms
When you fill in the waitlist or contact form, the information you provide (email, city, message) is used solely to get back to you. It is never resold or shared for advertising purposes.
What about the mobile app?
The same sobriety applies there: ExpatTribe shows no advertising. The app embeds no advertising SDK and does not use your device's advertising identifier. It is funded by the Premium subscription, not by your data.
What about machine translation? It relies on no cookie and no identifier. When the app displays a wiki entry or a message in your own language, only the text to be translated is sent to Anthropic (Claude): no cookie, no identifier, no profile data. That processing is set out in section 5 of our privacy policy.
If this were to change on this website
If we ever added an audience-measurement tool or a tracker to this showcase website, we would put in place a compliant consent banner and update this page. As of today, that is not the case.
